Media: Multidisciplinary, Art works: sign vinyl, house paint, fencing, ribbon, plumbers tape and industrial velcro
Dimensions: Multi dimensional. Fifty percent of Hermann Park was filled with art and activities debuting during Kite Festival in the Spring
Art Uniti created a symphony of multi-disciplinary art celebrating Spring. “Color Bursting Hermann Park” was funded by grants by HAA, NEA, The Brown Foundation, Wells Fargo, and City of Houston and Hermann Park Conservancy. Community surveys requested drawing attention to trees and entertainment. Moschioni and Parente created “Dancing Trees” a rainbow of vinyl tree skirts on the oldest park trees. “Lyrical Trees” were community created ribbon vests. “Refraction” was an interactive dance choreographed by Lori Yuill. “Shades of Blue” a band performance led by Texas JohnnyBoy. Art Uniti’s successfully managed this multidisciplinary art project with many partners.
