Dominic Walsh Dance Theater (DWDT) is a Houston-based contemporary ballet company that inspires and entertains audiences and artists with visually stunning performances. Dominic Walsh Dance Theater presents innovative, thought-provoking works by its founder and other leading U. S. and international choreographers.

Nicola Parente was selected as one of 2008’s visual artist for Dominic Walsh Dance Theater, Terminus, E_Merging II. Inspired by Parente’s Edge of Awakening series Dominic Walsh wrote this dance piece to reflect the artists work. Nicola Parente collaborated with choreographer Dominic Walsh and lighting designer Jeremy Choate in developing the visual aspects of the dance piece through the use of projection installation, original paintings and costume design.
